Coal Miner's Photos
Eccles, Raleigh County, WV
This photo was on a post card.
Clarence Samuel Webb, my grandfather is the miner
on the far right. The postmark is 1909,so I think I am safe in assuming that
the photo was taken that same year. I have no idea of who the other two men
are. Clarence died at the 1914 Eccles
mine disaster,along with his brother,Dona ( long "o" ) Webb. If anyone knows the identity of the other miners,
