CEFORD CECIL CAMPBELL, born 7 October 1917 in Charleston, W.Va., was the son of George Pleasant "Pleze" Campbell and Rosa Burdette. Rosa died in 1926. Pleze and his family are found exclusively in Charleston, Kanawha County, in 1920, 1930 and 1940 census records.According to Ceford's WWII Draft Registration card, he was born in Charleston, NOT Tyler County, as stated on his record at the WV Memory Project, Archives & History, in Charleston.
