Eva Taylor


INDIAN CREEK - Eva Taylor, 81, died Sunday, March 10, 2002, in a Charles-ton hospital following a short illness. Born Feb. 9, 1921, at Roderfield, she was the daughter of the late Clarence D. Helmandollar and Minnie England Helmandollar Mann. Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Taylor; three sons, Howard Taylor, Harold Taylor and Jack Taylor; a daughter, Mona Stewart; a sister, Georgia Lehner; two brothers, Howard Helmandollar and Dillard Helmandollar; and a grandson, Dennis Taylor. Survivors include seven daughters, Shirley Thompson of Beckley, Charlotte Parker of Bluefield, Blonnie Mullins and her husband, Gene, of Jacksonville, Fla., Lema Bays and her husband, Estel, of Charleston, Jacqueline Kyer of Brenton, JoAnn Werner and her husband, Martin, of Rockwell, N.C. and Deane Reynolds of Lima, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Christine Taylor of Pineville; a son-in-law, Emerson Stewart of Oceana; a sister, Ollie West of Baileysville; 27 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren. Service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Calfee Funeral Service Chapel, Pineville, with the Rev. Tommy Knotts officiating. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny. Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements by Calfee Funeral Service, Pineville.
