SOUTHGATE, Mich. - Ralph Lucas, 60, formerly of Oak Hill, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2002. Born April 1, 1942, in Oak Hill, he was the son of Io Lucas of Wyandotte, Mich., and the late Ralph Lucas. Mr. Lucas served his country in the 82nd Airborne Division Artillery. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Cleo Rhodes. He was the beloved husband of Sandra, and the loving father of Nick. He is also survived by his sister, Noran Spurr and her husband, Thurlow, of Orlando, Fla.; his aunts, Ada M. Legg and Ivora Scarbrough, both of Oak Hill, Elsie Sexton of Garten, Lillian Robertson of Amherst, Ohio, and Ruby Richard of Commerce Township, Mich.; an uncle, Henry Rhodes of St. Augustine, Fla.; and a niece, Vicki Spurr of Orlando. The body was cremated. A memorial service will be Saturday in Wyandotte. Arrangements by John Molnar Funeral Homes, Southgate.
