William Montgomery will


January the first one thousand eight hundred and thirteen I William Montgomery of Ohio County and
State of Virginia being weak of body but sound of memory doth make this my last will and testament
in the name of God Amen,  it is my will and meaning that my son Joseph shall have the one third of my
place where he now lives beginning at Vances line and on Turkey Run and running East or North East
to John Richeys line taking seventy three acres and one third   then it is my will and meaning that my
son William Montgomery shall have that part of my place joining lines with Joseph and John Hill and 
Shephard extending to the gut at the side of my wheat field  that is the wood land there let the same 
be more or less that is allowing his mother the pre eminancy right as long as she lives and then it shall
be his forever at her decease  also it is my will and meaning that my daughter Eliza shall have one 
hundred dollars that is due by bond by Robert Luke with the lawful interest til she comes to age then
it is my will and meaning that my wife Jane Montgomery shall have all my moveable property with 
all my papers  also the part of the place I now possess without any interruption while she lives and
at her decease it is my will and meaning that my son John shall have that part of my place forever,  the
above being my true will and meaning and ? as above in the presence of the undernamed subscribers
this day and year within written

It is my will and meaning that my wife Jane Montgomery and John Buchanon is Executors of my will 
and testament

A true copy from the original which was proven in Court at February Term 1813 by the oaths of 
John Buchanan and John Hill subscribing witnesses thereto & ordered to be recorded
