Mozart Incline - 1893-1917

City Railway inclined plane running from 43rd and Wetzel Streets, Wheeling, to Mozart Park, a popular amusement area. It was originally built by Henry Schmulbach, president of a local brewery, as a beer emporium, bowling alley and dance pavillion complex. The incline was abandoned in 1907 after a car line reached the park.
