SAMUEL2 RUCKMAN (JOHN1) (Source: Quit Claim Record Green Co. Pa..) died Bef. May 1832. He married ELEANOR BARNETT 1798, daughter of EZEKIEL BARNETT and ELINOR KILGORE. She was born 1780, and died 1841 in Marshall Co., WV. Notes for SAMUEL RUCKMAN: A friend sent the information on this family from a web site. Not sure it is documented. Notes for ELEANOR BARNETT: In the Gorby Family Book there is an item about Elizabeth Barnett born 1793. It states she was born on the ocean coming to America. The same information is in the 1984 Marshall County, WV History. This could not be true. Ezekiel Barnet was in America certainly by 1770 or before. Someone has mixed up the facts on the family. Children of SAMUEL RUCKMAN and ELEANOR BARNETT are: i. SAMUEL3 RUCKMAN. ii. SARAH RUCKMAN. iii. LUCINDA RUCKMAN. iv. ELENOR RUCKMAN. v. ANN RUCKMAN. vi. JOHN N. RUCKMAN. vii. JAMES RUCKMAN. viii.
