THOMAS LUNSFORD, operating and mechanical dentist, of 1217 Market street, is a native of Ohio County, West Virginia, and is second son of Levris Lunsford, born 1802, and who has very many years been popular as a contractor and superintendent of railroads and other public works. Dr. Thomas Lunsford was born in -- and graduated at Washington College, Pennsylvania. He commenced his studies in dentistry, in 1860, with Dr. W. Fundenberg, a highly popular dentist in Pittsburgh, and subsequently selecting Wheeling for his future home, he opened up in business here, remaining in the same to this day. He was married in 1867, to Mary E., daughter of Dr. A. S. Todd, one of Wheeling's most valuable pioneers, and by her he has an interesting family of two sons.
