HENRY STAMM, proprietor of the Stamm House, is a native of Germany, though having resided in this country many years, where he has been successful in establishing an excellent business. His present excellent hotel is located on Water street, overlooking the river Ohio, and contains from fifty to sixty rooms in addition to fine dining, sample and reception rooms, office and other accessories essential to such an institution. Mr. Stamm is a competent and attentive host - receives excellent support, and certainly conducts one of the most popular two dollar per day houses in the state.
