The Will of JAMES CALDWELL Submitted by Elizabeth Pell Reynolds. In the name of God Amen I James Caldwell, the Elder of the county of Ohio in the commonwealth of Virginia being afflicted with bodily infirmities but of perfect mind and memory and calling to mind the mortality of my body do make and ordain this my last will and testament that is to say – I give and bequeath unto my son John Caldwell all the money that he is indebted to me on Book account as his part of my estate. ____ I give and bequeath to my four Sons to wit – Samuel Caldwell, James Caldwell, Alexander Caldwell and Joseph Caldwell all my Estate both Real and personal which I now possess after my Just debts and funeral charges is first paid out of my said Estate. On their paying the following legacies that is to say So soon as my Executors here after named Shall be able to dispose of so much of my said Estate as will be sufficient to discharge Said legacies that is to say two hundred pounds to be paid by my said Executors to my Daughter Jane Relfe which is to considered to be paid in Pennsylvania Money. And two hundred Dollars to my widowed daughter Elizabeth Williamson I give and bequeath to my son Samuel Caldwell over and above his equal part as above bequeathed all my wearing apparel. And lastly I constitute my sons James Caldwell Alexander Caldwell and Joseph Caldwell my sole executors of this my last will and testament Revoking and disanulling all former wills by me here to fore made and confirming this and this only to be considered in law as my last will & Testament.
