(Ephraim (sic) Lockwood was the son of John Lockwood and Abigail Morehouse) (Transcribed as written, with no punctuation) In the name of God Amen I Ephraim (sic) Lockwood of Ohio County and State of Virginia Being weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory Blessed by Almighty God for the same do make and publish this my last well and testament in manner and form following (that is to say) principally and first of all I give and recommend my soul in to the hands of Almighty God that gave it and my body I recommend to the Earth to be buried in decent Christian burial at the discretion of my Executors nothing doubting but at the General resurection (sic) I shall receive the same again by the power of Almighty God and as touching such worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life I give and dispose in manner and form following 1st I give and bequeath to Susannah my beloved wife all my real and personal property at her disposal as long as she remains my woody (sic) but if she marries then she shall only be entitled to her third of my real Estate I Give and bequeath to my sons David Lockwood Benjamin Lockwood Jacob Lockwood William Lockwood Joshua Lockwood and my daughters Dimees Brown Lawrence Lockwood Rachel Steenrod May Buchannan Abigaiel (sic) Steenrod and Elizabeth Lockwood and (sic) equal share but it is to be (sic) out of my real and personal property to be equally divided at the death of Susannah my wife and I so hereby constitute make and ordain Susannah my wife and John faris (sic) my executors of this my last will and testament and I do hereby utterly disallow Revoke and Disanul (sic) all and every other former form or testament wills legacies and bequests and Executors by me in any ways before named Willed and bequeathed Ratifying and Confirming this and no other to be my last will and Testament.
