WILLIAM W. HERRON

William W. Herron, the oldest son of the William (See bio), was 
married December 29, 1871, to Joanna, daughter of Philip Ward, born 
in this county March 11, 1851.  They have three children, Phillip W., 
William M., and Emory Lee.  He is one of the prosperous young 
farmers, and has a fine farm of 100 acres upon which he has resided 
since about 1879.  His land being in the oil region, he has leased it 
to an oil company, for a rental of $4,000.  He and his wife are 
worthy and popular people and are members of the Presbyterian church.
