K. and Laomia (Campbell) Pendleton. She began teaching music in the above college in the year 1881, and in 1885 was offered the chair of modern languages, which she accepted, and which she has since held. As a teacher Miss Pendleton takes high rank, and has given eminent satisfaction in the responsible positions which she has filled. (Linda Fluharty)
