About This Site
This website was created by Linda Cunningham Fluharty in 1998, at the request of her late cousin, Audra Wayne, and Wheeling area friends, Phyllis Dye Slater and Mary Coss Staley. In 2005, the W.A.G.S. site became part of the Ohio County WVGenWeb, of the WVGenWeb Project.
These Ohio County files, compiled almost exclusively by Linda Fluharty, were stored for nearly 14 years in the domain provided by Linda (lindapages.com). To make certain the files survive, in 2012 they were moved to a server provided by the WVGenWeb Project, with the hope they will be maintained for many years to come.
