We were in the
process of transcribing the Mineral County Births from the Courthouse Ledger.

information transcribed from the Courthouse is below.
The Information in Black Font was taken from The
J C Sanders Collection at the Mineral County Library.
The Information in Green Font was taken from the
Typed Ledger at the Mineral County Courthouse.
I had hoped to acquire the accurate information
from the Original Birth Records Ledger, but I was told by the Clerk, Mr Thomas,
that the Original Birth Records Book at the Mineral County Courthouse is not
available for the public to use. He informed me that if I show him the
discrepancies between the two, he will have Courthouse Employees look into it.
This is going to cause extra work for me, so please be patient - it may take a
while but hopefully with the help of the Clerk's office we will have the
accurate information online.
