This census was taken by Clifton and Lila Funkhouser in 1980. They recorded many Hardy County cemeteries and generously wanted their work made available to the public; therefore, they gave a copy to the Hardy County Public Library. It is reproduced here with permission from the Library.

The Evans Cemetery is near Bean Settlement about two miles North of the Brill Cemetery near Howard Evans' place (in 1980). To reach the cemetery, go across from the Evans' home, cross a small run and it is on the hillside - about 330 yards from the Evans'.

There are several field stone marked graves. The above property
is now owned (in 1980) by Leona Evans, Caledonia Heights, the
widow of Jr. Evans' son Howard.
