This census was taken by Clifton and Lila Funkhouser in 1979. They recorded many Hardy County cemeteries and generously wanted their work made available to the public; therefore, they gave a copy to the Hardy County Public Library. It is reproduced here with permission from the Library.

Baker Cemetery is located at Bill Baker’s property (in 1979). It is 2 ½ miles East of Wardensville on Route 259. Go up the hill on the left side of the road. It is on the East side of the brick house. Follow the road to the site in the woods on top of the small hill.
