Current Events That Reflect Our Heritage
"Preserving our History - Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow"
Raleigh county is rich in heritage. This richness is evident in the people, the landscape, the customs, and the culture. The richness of our past touches the beginnings of our nation, survives the wars that have challanged us, and grows to modern day Raleigh County. Our goal is to discover and preserve our past, cherish our present, and prepare for our future.
This part of our website is dedicated to documenting our present for those in the future who will look upon us as "the past".
