CONWAY, LUCADO -
I am trying to research the LUCADO family from Mercer Co. West Virginia. Many of my great
uncles, uncles, and cousins lived in the county. I have copied several births and marriages from
the county records and would be glad to share them. My greatuncle George Washington Lucado
died 8 August 1965 in Bluefield, Mercer Co. He was the son of George and Martha Ann Conway
LUCADO. My greatuncle Chapman Eugene LUCADO died 23 September 1965 in Princeton,
Mercer Co. Both worked for the N&W Railroad. I would like to contact cousins and others
related to the LUCADO family from Mercer County.

TABOR -
I am looking for info on Henry H. Tabor and/or wife Mary. The 1880 census shows them in
Mercer Co. in Rock(?). I think Henry may have died before 1900; the 1900 census shows Mary
Tabor with children Eunice and Hutton(?), no mention of Henry. Their son Charles E.
Tabor was my greatgrandfather.

I am seeking and looking for descendants of John and Nancy Mullins Walker. John and
Nancy had nine children. All are listed the Will of John Walker filed in Mercer County,
dated November 1849. The children names are: Mary Polly, Elizabeth, Sarah, Chrispianos,
Margaret, Nancy, Charles, Cynthia, Ursula. I would appreciate anyone who is a descendant of
any of these children, who can provide me with generalogy information relative to this family. I
am a descendant of Chrispianos.

(Perdew) Thompson, who are listed on the 1850 (42nd Dist.) 1860 (Princeton P.O.)
and 1870 (Rock Twp., Spanishburg P.O.) Federal Census in Mercer Co. I would appreciate any help

BROWN, HICKS, JONES, WATSON, WOLTZ -
I am seeking information about a WATSON family that lived on Bland Street in Bluefield
about 1880-1900. The wife's family name was supposedly WOLTZ and the first names are
unknown. I don't know if this was Bluefield, WV or in Va. The family had three daughters and
possibly more children. The known daughters are Georgia who married a Brown, Mary
Elizabeth who married John Hicks and Blanche who married a Jones. Any information

Searching for information on my paternal grandmother Rissie Hylton Lawson. Born
around 1894 lived/died in the Matoaka/Rock area. Probalby died in mid 1950s. May have been born
in Mercer County also although my fathers birth certificate just says 'county'. Married Taylor
Lawson and had 3 children that lived to adulthood - Beulah Lawson Green/
Greene, Zelphie Lawson (married name unknown) and my father Alvin Taylor
Lawson. Would appreciate any info. Thanks.

I am trying to find any info on Chili Pettrey who lived in Mercer county in the comunity
of Pettry, before and after the turn of the twentieth century. His wife's name was Alice (Maiden
name unknown), and several children one of whom was Mary Francis Pettrey (My Grandmother).

I'm looking for information on my grandmother, Gladys Ruth Henderson, and her family.
She married William McAdoo Craig of Knoxville, Tennessee sometime around 1920 and had two
children, Margaret Ruth b. 1923 and William McAdoo (my dad) b. 1924. She and my grandfather were
divorced when my father was young and I only saw her once when I was very small. She died
sometime in the mid-late 1950s. The only other information I've ever been given about her is
that she was from Bluefield, W. Va. Thanks!
