(1) - Lawrence Lancaster - See Lawrence Lancaster - Severely Wounded - Bronze Star
(2) - Michael Romano - There were two men of this name who worked at Benwood at the time they registered for the draft. Both seem to have survived.
(3) - Howard M. Fisher - See Howard M. Fisher - KIA - Not From Cameron.
(4) - James R. Wilkinson - See James R. Wilkerson, Wounded in Action
(5) Elm Grove is in Ohio County. Since a number of men died in service from areas that border on Marshall County, it seems inappropriate to selectively include people.
(6) - William T. Eller did not die in camp, but William Herbert Eller did. William T. Eller is correctly presented in the "Missing in Action" section. He was honorably discharged February 18, 1919 and filed a Veteran Compensation claim in Pennsylvania in 1934.
