“Wm. H. Piles” married Margaret Matheny in Wetzel County on Sept. 8, 1860; his residence was Marshall County. Parents’ names, birth places, and residence stated on marriage record.
Margaret filed for a pension and received Certificate #101.796. She stated her son, Simon William Pyles, was born on Aug. 17, 1861. She married George W. Baker in December 1866.
