FAMILY RECORD

“Samuel Gunn son of Franklin & Mary Gunn was born December 27th A.D. 1837”

This certifies that the above is a true copy of so much of what purports to be the Gunn family record of births as relates to the soldier’s birth. The record is on a sheet of paper specifically printed for that purpose (presumably a sheet from the family Bible); the paper is very old, and the entries appear to have been made about the dates given. Record this day returned to the pensioner, March 21, 1908.
