Davis: The Settlers of Salem, West Virginia by Susie Davis Nicholson (Bicentennial Edition, 1992) has been reprinted. The cost is $75.00 plus $4.00 postage and handling. Descendants of Nicholas Cain 1736-1986" is a nice hard bound book of
331 pages on acid free paper.
It has the name CAIN in gold leaf on the front cover and spine of the book, and is fully indexed. There are copies of land records, wills and many photos. The book mainly traces Nicholas' 9 children in America, three of whom came to Harrison County in about 1770. Many of those descendants still live in the same areas from Clarksburg to Parkersburg. Eastom has co-published "The Nutters of Nutter Fort, Y2K". This
book expands Jeanne Forney's book from 400 pages to over 900 pages. Tim
has donated 2 copies to the Nutter Fort Library and 1 copy to Waldamore
in Clarksburg. According to Tim, he has 200 more pages of info people have
sent him on their family lines for the next book. |

an effort to preserve his writings, Pauline and Lola Smith have compiled
and published a book, "The Memories and Writings of Harold David Somerville,
Volume I." Harold Somerville often wrote under the name of Tommie
Sewell. The book is 8 1/2 x 11 with 12 point font, wrap-around cover,
