Kenneth Cottrill Kenneth A. Cottrill, 59, a resident of Wilbur, W.Va., passed away at his home at 6:05 p.m., Wed., February 4. He was born Dec. 22, 1910, in Doddridge County, a son of the late Charles and Agnes Smith Cottrill. In 1945, he married Mabel E. Keys, who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Kendra, at home; four sisters, Mrs. Ora (Bertha) Montgomery of West Union, Mrs. Charles (Lenora) Goddard and Mrs. Clifford (Ruth) Cochran, both of East Liverpool, Ohio, and Mrs. Robert (Nancy) Willis of St. Petersburg, Florida; three brothers, Smith of Dayton, Oh., Jacob C. of Pennsboro, and Charles D. Jr., of West Union, and an uncle, J. Corbitt Smith of West Union. One brother, Wayne, preceded him in death. Mr. Cottrill was an active member of the Fairview United Methodist Church, where he served on the church board of trustees and was also a trustee of the church parsonage. He was a member of Bricklayers Union No. 6, Parkersburg, the Tyler County Farm Bureau and was a former field deputy assessor for Tyler County. He was a veteran of World War II. Funeral services were conducted last Saturday at 2 p.m., from the Wilbur Chapel Church. (1970)
